Create a subdomain (like blog.yourdomain.com) directly in cPanel.
- Log in to cPanel and open Domains under the Domains section.
- Click Create A New Domain.
- In the Domain field, type the full subdomain, for example
blog.yourdomain.com. - cPanel suggests a document root such as
public_html/blog.yourdomain.com- adjust if needed. - Click Submit.
Your subdomain is created instantly with its own folder. Upload that site's files into the document root, or install an app there using Softaculous. AutoSSL will issue a free SSL certificate for the subdomain automatically. If the subdomain doesn't load right away, give DNS a short time to update.
