Domains have a registrar lock that blocks transfers. You must unlock the domain before moving it.
- Log in to the control panel of the registrar where the domain is currently registered.
- Open the domain's management or settings page.
- Find Registrar Lock, Transfer Lock, or Domain Lock.
- Toggle it to Unlocked / Off and save.
Once unlocked, you can retrieve the EPP/auth code and start the transfer at the new registrar. Note that newly registered or recently transferred domains are locked by the registry for 60 days and cannot be moved until that period ends.
If your domain is registered with Toshost, you can manage the lock on the domain's page in the client area, or open a ticket and we'll unlock it for you.
