WHOIS privacy (ID protection) hides your personal contact details from public WHOIS lookups, replacing them with the privacy service's info.
- Log in to the Toshost client area.
- Go to Domains > My Domains and select
yourdomain.com. - Open the Addons or domain management section.
- Enable ID Protection / WHOIS Privacy and confirm any charge.
Once active, your name, address, email, and phone number are masked in public WHOIS results. Note that a few TLDs (especially some country-code domains) don't support privacy, and registries may still publish limited data. If you don't see the option for your domain, it may not be supported for that TLD - open a ticket and we'll confirm. Remember to keep privacy disabled briefly if a transfer requires access to the registrant email.
