Add your hosting mailbox to Apple Mail on your Mac like this.

Open Mail > Settings > Accounts and click +, or go to System Settings > Internet Accounts > Add Other Account.
Choose Other Mail Account and enter your name, full email address, and password.
For account type pick IMAP.
Incoming server: mail.yourdomain.com (port 993, SSL).
Outgoing server: mail.yourdomain.com (port 465 SSL, or 587 STARTTLS).
Use your full email address and password for both, then click Sign In.

If Mail can't verify the connection, set the server to the secure hostname shown in cPanel under Connect Devices. Still stuck? Open a ticket.
