A catch-all (default address) collects any mail sent to a non-existent username at your domain, like typo@yourdomain.com.
- Log in to cPanel and open Default Address under Email.
- Choose your domain.
- Select Forward to email address and enter a real mailbox, such as
you@yourdomain.com. - Click Change.
Now any mail to an unknown address at your domain lands in that mailbox. Use it carefully: a catch-all can attract a lot of spam, since spammers guess random names. The safer default is Discard with error, which simply bounces unknown addresses. Pick whichever fits your needs — you can switch back any time. Questions? Open a ticket.
