How do I delete an email account? Print

Delete a mailbox from cPanel in a few clicks. Note: deleting an account permanently removes all its stored messages, so back them up first if needed.

1. Log in to cPanel and open Email Accounts.
2. Find the address you want to remove (for example user@yourdomain.com).
3. Click Manage next to it.
4. Scroll to the bottom and click Delete Email Account, then confirm.

The mailbox, its password, and all messages are removed immediately. Any mail forwarders or filters tied to that address may need to be deleted separately under Forwarders and Email Filters. If you cannot access cPanel, please open a ticket and we'll help.
