Email delays are usually caused by the receiving side, not your account. Common reasons:
- Greylisting on either server temporarily defers the first delivery attempt, adding a few minutes.
- The remote mail server is busy, offline, or queuing messages.
- A large queue from spam filtering or many recipients.
- DNS or MX record changes that are still propagating.
Most delays clear on their own within minutes to an hour. To check your side, open Track Delivery in cPanel to see if the message is queued or delivered. If many messages are consistently slow, or you see them stuck in the queue, please open a ticket with example timestamps and recipient addresses so we can check the mail server.
