cPanel's built-in Apache SpamAssassin filters most junk automatically. Tune it like this:
- Log in to cPanel and open Spam Filters.
- Make sure Apache SpamAssassin is enabled.
- Lower the Spam Threshold Score (for example to 5) to catch more spam, and enable Spam Box so flagged mail goes to a separate folder instead of being deleted.
- Use the Whitelist and Blacklist boxes to always allow or always block specific senders.
You can also create rules under Email Filters for specific subjects or addresses. Never reply to or unsubscribe from obvious spam, as that confirms your address is active. If you suddenly get a flood of spam, please open a ticket so we can check for abuse.
