Softaculous lets you install WordPress, Joomla, and hundreds of other apps in one click:
- Log in to cPanel and find Softaculous Apps Installer (under Software).
- Search for the app (for example, WordPress) and click Install.
- Choose the protocol (use
https://since free SSL is available) and selectyourdomain.com. - Leave the directory blank to install on the root domain, or enter a folder name for a subdirectory.
- Set your admin username, password, and email, then click Install.
Within a minute you will get the site URL and admin login link. Softaculous can also manage updates and create backups of installed apps. If the install fails, check available disk space or open a ticket.
