To change your cPanel account password:
- Log in to cPanel.
- Click your username in the top-right corner and choose Password & Security (or open Password & Security from the Preferences section).
- Enter your Old Password, then a strong New Password (use the generator for a random one).
- Click Change your password now!
Use a long, unique password with letters, numbers, and symbols. Note that changing your cPanel password may also affect related logins like SFTP/SSH and your main FTP account. If you cannot remember your current password, reset it from your client area where you manage the hosting service, or open a ticket. For extra protection, enable two-factor authentication in cPanel under Two-Factor Authentication.
