A user must be attached to a database with the right privileges before your app can use it:
- Log in to cPanel and open MySQL Databases.
- Scroll to Add User To Database, choose the user and the database, then click Add.
- On the privileges screen, tick ALL PRIVILEGES (recommended for most apps) and click Make Changes.
To change privileges later, find the pairing under Current Databases, click the user's privileges link, adjust the boxes, and save. Most CMS and web apps need full privileges on their own database; granting less can cause install or update errors. If you are unsure which to enable, open a ticket.
