You can install WordPress by hand in a few steps using cPanel.
- Download the latest WordPress from wordpress.org and upload the ZIP to
public_htmlvia File Manager, then extract it. - In cPanel's MySQL Databases, create a database and a user, then add that user to the database with all privileges.
- Visit
https://yourdomain.comand run the setup wizard, entering your database name, user, and password. - Complete the site title, admin username, password, and email.
That's it. Toshost provides free SSL and LiteSpeed Cache, so enable both afterward. If you prefer a one-click install, Softaculous in cPanel does all of this automatically. Stuck on the database step? Open a ticket.
