How do I use Cloudflare CDN with WordPress? Print

  • 0

Cloudflare caches your content worldwide and adds security in front of your site. To set it up:

  1. Create a free account at cloudflare.com and add yourdomain.com.
  2. Cloudflare scans your DNS records, then gives you two nameservers.
  3. Update your domain's nameservers to those Cloudflare values in your client area (or at your registrar). Propagation can take a few hours.

Once active, enable SSL in Cloudflare set to Full, and install the LiteSpeed Cache or Cloudflare plugin in WordPress to purge the CDN cache when you update content. Toshost's LiteSpeed Cache handles server-side caching, while Cloudflare handles the global edge. If you'd rather keep our nameservers and use Cloudflare's CNAME setup, open a ticket for guidance.
