How do I install Drupal? Print

Install Drupal in a couple of clicks using Softaculous in cPanel.

  1. Log in to cPanel via your client area.
  2. Open Softaculous Apps Installer and search for Drupal.
  3. Click Install Now.
  4. Select yourdomain.com, choose https:// for free SSL, and leave the directory empty for the web root.
  5. Enter the admin account details and click Install.

Drupal needs PHP and a MySQL database, both provided by your hosting; Softaculous creates the database for you. To install manually instead, upload the files to public_html, create a database in MySQL Databases, and run the installer at your domain.
