How do I use a CDN (Cloudflare) with my hosting? Print

A CDN like Cloudflare caches your site across global servers so visitors load it faster. To set it up:

  1. Create a free account at cloudflare.com and add yourdomain.com.
  2. Cloudflare scans your existing DNS records - check they all imported correctly.
  3. Cloudflare gives you two nameservers. Update your domain's nameservers to those (in your registrar, or in your client area if you registered the domain with us).
  4. Wait for activation, then enable caching and SSL (use Full mode) in the Cloudflare dashboard.

For WordPress, the LiteSpeed Cache plugin works alongside Cloudflare. Some cPanel accounts also offer a Cloudflare app under the Software section. If you'd rather keep our nameservers and only proxy through Cloudflare, open a ticket for guidance.
