A 508 Resource Limit Reached error means your account briefly used more CPU, memory or Entry Processes than your plan allows, so the server paused new requests. It usually clears on its own in a minute or two. To stop it recurring:
- Enable caching with LiteSpeed Cache (LSCache) so pages aren't rebuilt on every visit.
- Optimize images and clean up your database.
- Remove or replace heavy plugins and limit background cron jobs.
- Block bad bots that crawl your site aggressively.
Check cPanel's Resource Usage page to see which limit was hit and when - that points to the cause. If you've optimized and still hit 508 because your traffic has genuinely grown, you've likely outgrown your current plan. Open a ticket with your domain and we'll review the logs and recommend an upgrade.
