How you restore depends on what kind of backup you have:
- Files: in cPanel's Backup Wizard, choose Restore > Home Directory and upload your home-directory backup file.
- Database: choose Restore > MySQL Database and upload the database backup, or import the
.sqlvia phpMyAdmin. - Email/forwarders: use the matching restore option in Backup Wizard.
If you have a full account backup, individual users usually cannot restore the whole archive themselves. Open a ticket with the backup file (or its location in your account) and we will restore it for you. Always confirm the backup date before restoring, since it overwrites current data.
