Many of our servers run scheduled server-side backups as a courtesy, but these are provided on a best-effort basis and should never be your only copy. Backup frequency and retention depend on the server and plan, so do not assume a specific schedule.
To stay safe, always keep your own backups too:
- Use cPanel's Backup tool to download full or partial backups regularly.
- Store copies off the server (your PC, cloud storage).
- Back up before any major change or update.
