A full account backup bundles your files, databases, emails, and settings into one archive:
- Log in to cPanel from your client area and open Backup.
- Under Full Backup, click Download a Full Account Backup.
- Set Backup Destination to Home Directory, optionally add an email for the completion notice, and click Generate Backup.
- Wait for it to build (large accounts take longer), then return to the same page and download the
.tar.gzfile.
Move the file off the server for safekeeping. Note that the full archive is mainly for migration and admin restores; for selective restores, partial backups are easier. Questions about your account size or timing? Open a ticket.
