Migrating is usually straightforward. The simplest path:
- Sign up for a plan and find your cPanel login in your welcome email and client area.
- If your old host uses cPanel, ask them for a full cPanel backup, or we can pull it directly.
- Upload your site files to
public_htmlvia File Manager or FTP. - Export your database from the old host and import it via phpMyAdmin, then update your app's config with the new database details.
- Set up your email accounts, then point your domain's nameservers (shown in your welcome email) to Toshost.
Test everything before changing DNS so there's no downtime. If you'd prefer we handle it, open a ticket with your old host's cPanel login and we'll arrange the migration.
