To move email, first recreate your accounts on Toshost, then transfer the messages.
- In cPanel, open Email Accounts and create each address (e.g.
you@yourdomain.com) using the same names as before. - If your old host uses cPanel, a full account backup will include all mail; we can restore it for you.
- Otherwise, use an IMAP-to-IMAP transfer: in a mail client like Thunderbird, add both the old and new accounts and drag messages between them, or ask us about a server-side sync.
Keep both mailboxes active until the transfer finishes and DNS has updated. After pointing your domain to Toshost, update your MX records (handled automatically when using our nameservers) and reconfigure your devices with the new mail server settings shown in cPanel. Need help? Open a ticket.
