With a careful migration, your site should have little or no downtime.
- We move your files, databases and emails to Toshost before changing anything with your domain.
- You test your site on the new server (using a temporary URL or by editing your local hosts file) to confirm it works.
- Only then do you update your domain's nameservers or DNS to point at Toshost.
Because both the old and new sites exist during the switch, visitors keep reaching a working copy the whole time. DNS changes can take a few hours to propagate worldwide, during which some visitors see the old host and some see Toshost, but the site stays online either way.
