How do I create a hosting package in WHM? Print

Packages define the resource limits you assign to client accounts. To create one:

1. Log in to WHM and go to Packages > Add a Package.
2. Enter a Package Name (for example starter).
3. Set resource limits: Disk Space Quota, Monthly Bandwidth, Max Email Accounts, Max Databases, Max FTP Accounts and Max Addon/Parked/Sub Domains.
4. Pick a cPanel Theme (usually jupiter) and a feature list.
5. Click Add.

You can now assign this package whenever you create an account. Keep total package limits within your reseller plan's overall quota, which is shown in your welcome email. To edit limits later, use Packages > Edit a Package.
