How do I create a new cPanel account for a client? Print

To set up a new client account in WHM:

1. Go to Account Functions > Create a New Account.
2. Under Domain Information, enter the client's Domain, a Username, a strong Password and a contact Email.
3. Under Package, choose a package you created earlier.
4. Set DNS Settings and Mail Routing (the defaults are usually fine).
5. Click Create.

WHM provisions the account, sets up the home directory and adds the DNS zone. The client can then log in to cPanel at :2083 with the username and password you set. If you use private nameservers, make sure the domain points to them. Need bulk setup help? Open a ticket.
