Most resellers use WHMCS, the industry-standard billing and automation platform, to handle signups, invoices and provisioning. The basic setup:
- Install WHMCS on your hosting (or order a licence), then add your server under System Settings > Servers using your WHM hostname and API access.
- Create Products/Services that map to the WHM packages you built.
- Connect a payment gateway so clients can pay online.
- Enable automation so WHMCS creates the cPanel account in WHM on payment, and suspends or terminates on non-payment.
